www.chinabuses.org: Competitions on mini bus have started in 2010. It’s learned that SAIC GE Wuling launched their new Wuling Sunshine for mini bus markets. And this is also countermove to Chana, Changhe as well as Hafei mini bus.

Wuling Sunshine mini bus

The price of the new Wuling is from 38,300 Yuan to 45,000 Yuan. And some improvements have been made based on needs of customers, for example, they broadened inner space by 0.5 cubic meters, increased carrying capacity, and twelve storage were set up. "Medium mini bus is still the biggest mini bus market and they are pushing the new Wuling mini bus in 2010,” said Yang Jie, general manager of SAIC GE Wuling Sales Company.

Wuling Sunshine mini bus is vital to SAIC GE Wuling. According to related statistics, 600,000 units of the 1,060,000 units of their sales volumes in 2009 were Wuling Sunshine. And it serves the backbone of their millions of sales volumes last year.

However, they are cautious to sales volumes of 2010, and they aims to sell 1,230,000 vehicles the whole year.

By contrast, Chana plans to sell 1,000,000 mini buses in 2010, adding market shares of Changhe and Hafei, and it is possible that Chana will surpass in 2010. “Welcome Chana to surpass Wuling and I like pressure by fierce competitions.”
