It’s reported that Dongfeng Electric Motor Car Corporation is one of the earliest companies engaged in R&D of electric motor cars, and their hybrid public buses are trial running in Wuhan. In Beijing 2008 Olympics, 15 Wuhan-made hybrid public buses carried passengers for 400,000 person-time, with total road haul of 145,000 kilometers and accumulated fuel prudent of 12,000 liters.

Now it’s the third year since Dongfeng Auto Corporation developed pure electric buses. There was a pure electric public bus sample parking in the exhibition on Sept.21st, 2009. As introduced the vehicle can run 250 kilometers after recharging for four hours with zero carbon emission. Now they have secured above twenty orders.
