Through several rounds of cutthroat competition, Nanjing government revealed the final result of public bus bidding on March 4, 2009. Xiamen Kinglong United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd (Kinglong for short as below) won the bidding and the total bus reached 390 units. This is the first bid of Kinglong in this year; also, it is the second batch bus for Kinglong to enter the city of Nanjing. According to the original news reported that Kinglong won the first order from Nanjing government in September, 2008 with 425 luxury buses in total.

News from Nanjing government shows that it needs 1200 buses in total recently. 360 buses will be jointly produced by Nanjing Public Bus Co., Ltd and Shanghai Sunwin Bus Corporation and last part of 840 buses will bid to the public.

According to Kinglong says that the model of bus is XMQ6116G and the total value reaches 159 million Yuan.
