China Light Bus Sale Surges in 2007

China's current economy is still booming in 2007, the produce and sale situation of China Bus and Coach Industry are keeping a good momentum as well. Statistics from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers show China bus produce and sale amount both have exceeded 360,000 units, reaching respectively 362,600 units and 360,400 units, up 20.61% and 21.57% year-on-year. In addition, some leading industry manufacturers' strength have been further enhanced, of which Shenyang Brilliance JINBEI has topped the light bus sales list with its sale volume 66,400 units, contiuning to be the champion in China bus industry ; the advantage of large and medium bus manufacturers such as Yutong, King Long has been enlarged.
Figure shows China has respectively realized bus produce and sale 362,600 units and 360,400 units, reaching the highest point since there have statistics in China bus industry's history.
Among these main bus products, compared with same period last year, large, medium and light bus markets increased sharply, in which light bus behaved more outstanding. Until the end of 2007, China had saled 51,300 units large buses, up 17.12 percent year-on-year with net increased 7,500 units larg buses compared same period in 2006; 71,500 units medium buses, up 9.48 percent year-on-year with net increased 6,200 units medium buses compared same period; 237,600 units light buses, up 26.83 percent year-on-year with net increased 50,300 units light buses compared same period in 2006. The increase of light buses is relatively more evident.
