During the Golden Week holiday, Hefei's cultural tourism market boomed. Scenic spots and city streets were packed with visitors eager to explore Hefei's scenery and history. City sightseeing became a top choice for holiday trips.
To enrich travel experiences, Hefei Public Transport launched the newly built Ankai E90D vintage sightseeing trolley. With its classic look running through city streets, it became a stunning mobile landmark and boosted Hefei's cultural tourism.

The name "trolley" comes from old tram bells. Hefei's first bus hit the road in 1956, leaving warm memories for local people. The new Ankai E90D vintage trolley pays tribute to this chapter of the city's transport history.
Designed after old trams, the bus has a smooth rounded body with eye-catching red-and-white paint. Its sunken front windshield, round lamps and arched viewing windows fully show retro style.

Inside, wood-style decoration and red vintage seats create a warm atmosphere. There are booths and long tables for rest. A viewing platform at the rear and onboard karaoke let visitors enjoy fun during the ride.
The E90D is powered by pure electricity. Equipped with a high-power central direct-drive motor and a large-capacity CATL BC5 battery, it runs quietly with zero emissions. Its six-airbag suspension ensures a smooth and comfortable ride, making it a cozy mobile city lounge.

Cultural tourism fuels urban development. The "public transport + tourism" model shows Hefei's charm. Two sightseeing routes run with the E90D: the Luzhou Life Line and Lake Scenic Route. Over the holiday, the trolley ran 420 trips and served nearly 20,000 passengers; tickets were in high demand and it became a popular moving attraction.

The Luzhou Life Line starts at East Gate of Xinghua Park. It connects old landmarks including Chenghuang Temple, Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street, Xiaoyaojin Park and Baogong Park, and extends to Sanxiaokou, Sanli'an, New Granary and Swan Lake.
The Lake Scenic Route departs from Sunac Land, traveling along Chaohu Lake. It links Anshang Grassland, Crossing River Campaign Memorial Hall, Binhu Wetland and Changlinhe Ancient Town, offering great lake and green views.

Different from regular buses, this sightseeing service allows passengers to hop on and off anywhere along the route. One ticket grants unlimited rides and transfers between the two lines on the same day. Visitors can arrange their own travel pace for relaxed city tours.

As a local bus manufacturer in Hefei, Ankai keeps supporting urban development and telling Hefei's stories with its vehicles. Besides vintage trolleys, Ankai double-decker sightseeing buses and themed tourism buses are already operating in Hefei. These mobile exhibition halls expand the city's sightseeing options.
