From the Xiamen Government releases the news, last week, the chief executive Phil Horlock of Blue Bird Corp. had a conference with senior management personnel of Xiamen Fengtai International New Energy Vehicles Co., LTD. And the local government delegation officials. After the meeting, Blue Bird expressed its intention to cooperate with Xiamen Fengtai company. They will build a factory in Xiamen Haicang District, which will produce an annual capacity of 20,000 units of school buses.The Blue Bird "Long Nose" school buses is expected to appear in China in near future.
Blue Bird is not the second biggest school bus manufacturer in American which accounts for 30% of the market share. In 2011, the year-on-year growth rate is 4% and now it is mainly covering the 6 meter -14 meter school buses. And now the currently rapidly popular school buses market in China attract Blue Bird to join in it.
