Istanbul, June 18, 2026 – Busworld Turkey 2026 officially opened its doors yesterday (June 17) at the Istanbul Expo Center, marking the 11th edition of the region’s premier bus and coach exhibition. Running through June 19, this year’s event brings together a record number of participating brands across a 15% larger exhibition area, showcasing end-to-end mobility solutions spanning the entire bus industry supply chain.

Building on the momentum of the 2024 edition—which drew 12,366 trade visitors from 96 countries—this year’s show has achieved significant gains in both scale and international reach.
Expanded Venue and Stronger Exhibitor Presence
A total of 161 exhibitors are taking part in Busworld Turkey 2026, up from 157 two years ago. The gross exhibition area has grown to 11,358 square meters, compared with 9,862 square meters in 2024—a year-on-year increase of 15%.
The enlarged venue provides ample space for displays of complete buses and coaches, core components, intelligent systems, and aftermarket services. The exhibition has attracted a wave of new participants, including around 30 local Turkish companies, alongside first-time overseas exhibitors from China, Germany, Mexico, Italy, and Taiwan. This diverse lineup underscores the robust growth of Turkey’s vehicle manufacturing and component supply sectors.

Turkish Industry Leaders and Global Suppliers Converge
Busworld Turkey 2026 highlights the strength of Turkey’s domestic bus manufacturing industry, alongside an accelerating presence of international suppliers. Notably, leading local bus manufacturer Temsa has returned to the show after a long hiatus, presenting its latest vehicle models and technological innovations.
The components zone has also expanded substantially. A growing number of international firms—including several Chinese manufacturers—have joined the exhibition, collaborating with Turkish component producers and subcontractors to showcase solutions tailored for both domestic operations and global export markets.
The event continues to enjoy strong backing from key local industry associations, including İSTAB (Istanbul Transporters Association), TÖHOB (Association of All Private Public Buses), and TOF (Federation of All Bus Operators).
Official Statement
Vincent Dewaele, General Manager of Busworld International, expressed his enthusiasm for the Turkish exhibition’s sustained growth:
“We are delighted to see Busworld Türkiye expand steadily year after year. Turkey holds a pivotal position in the global bus industry as a major manufacturing and export hub for complete vehicles, core components, and advanced mobility technologies.”
“The remarkable growth of this year’s edition reflects the strong vitality of the local bus market. We are confident that Busworld Türkiye will continue to evolve and serve as a vital platform connecting the European, Middle Eastern, Central Asian, and global bus industries,” Dewaele added.
The three-day exhibition will continue over the next two days, offering global industry players a prime opportunity for business negotiations, technical exchanges, and partnership development.
