Golden Dragon Electric Buses Pioneering Norway's Green Mobility Frontier

Xiamen, China — A delegation from Norway's largest state-owned transportation group, Vy Group (Vygruppen AS), recently visited Xiamen to conduct final acceptance inspections on five custom-developed electric bus models from Xiamen Golden Dragon. Led by the Vice President of Vy Group and the CEO of its bus operating subsidiary, the visit signals a deepening partnership, with Golden Dragon's pure electric buses set for wider deployment across the Nordic markets.

Fully owned by the Norwegian state and under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Transport, Vy Group operates core businesses in rail, bus, freight, and tourism services across Norway and parts of Sweden. Its subsidiary, Vy Buss, is Norway's largest bus operator and one of the most significant public transport providers in Scandinavia, serving hundreds of millions of passengers annually through public service contracts, commercial express routes, airport transfers, and tour coach operations.

Golden Dragon's pure electric buses have already established a strong reputation in Norway, with over 200 premium orders secured to date. The vehicles have demonstrated reliable performance even in extreme cold as low as -20°C, earning broad local trust. Under the comprehensive 2026 Drammen Line tender plan, additional Golden Dragon buses will be introduced to further expand operational scale.

The buses have received high praise from Norwegian partners. Vy Group's Operations Director noted, "Golden Dragon buses have exceeded our expectations.
