Golden Dragon Delivers 600 Electric Logistics Vans to China Post

Golden Dragon Bus has completed a bulk delivery of 600 GLE850 battery-electric light vans. Leased to China Post through a leading new-energy logistics platform, the vehicles will be deployed across eleven cities, reinforcing the postal giant's sustainable and high-efficiency delivery network.

A proven specialist in electric logistics vehicles, Golden Dragon has established a mature cooperation model with major industry operators. Cumulative deliveries to its platform partners now exceed 7,000 units—including 1,660 in 2025 alone—with this latest 600-vehicle delivery underscoring the company's capacity for large-scale initiatives supporting the industry’s low-carbon shift.

Engineered for urban logistics, the compact yet spacious GLE850 stands just 2,260 mm tall and 1,700 mm wide, enabling it to navigate narrow city streets with ease while offering 8.2 m³ of cargo capacity. Its 3.2-meter interior length and 1.65-meter height allow for upright loading, and multiple door configurations accommodate multi-stop supermarket delivery runs. Built for durability, the van is equipped with five-leaf rear springs and 195/70R15 load-rated tires, while 1.2 mm reinforced steel body panels enhance longevity and help reduce long-term operating costs.

As China Post accelerates its transition from diesel vans to leased electric vehicles, the GLE850 contributes to a lower total cost of ownership through zero fuel consumption and reduced maintenance, all while eliminating tailpipe emissions and supporting the group’s carbon-reduction goals. Despite a demanding production timeline, Golden Dragon activated emergency protocols and leveraged its mature supply chain to complete all 600 units on schedule, with phased shipments finalized last week.
