Summarize:On December 15, BYD secured a contract for 210 electric buses from Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA), with a total value exceeding SGD 105 million (approximately RMB 575 million). Previously, BYD had already deployed over 300 buses in Singapore, capturing over 60% market share and establishing a leading industry position through its technological strength, product reliability, and quality services, supporting Singapore's transition to green public transportation.
On December 15, BYD secured a contract for 210 electric buses from Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA), with a total value exceeding SGD 105 million (approximately RMB 575 million). Previously, BYD had already deployed over 300 buses in Singapore, capturing over 60% market share and establishing a leading industry position through its technological strength, product reliability, and quality services, supporting Singapore's transition to green public transportation.

Singapore’s bus procurement standards in technology, safety, and adaptability are among the most stringent globally. As LTA’s largest electric bus procurement project to date, the winning BYD B12 series features core technologies including CTC integrated chassis technology, Blade Battery, and high-power charging. To adapt to Singapore’s complex high-density urban road scenarios, the vehicles have undergone rigorous multi-dimensional validation and are equipped with safety driving assistance systems designed to address potential risks.

The B12 series adopts a full-channel, low-floor design, achieving dual optimization of comfort and operational efficiency. The double-decker B12DD features a single-step vehicle layout with step height ≤230mm and seat height ≤430mm, exceeding European standards and significantly improving commuting convenience. The single-deck B12SD utilizes CTC technology to break through traditional structural limitations, optimizing step height while keeping seat height between 420–430mm, ensuring passenger comfort while maximizing capacity.

Since the delivery of its first batch of electric buses in 2019, BYD Commercial Vehicles has established a full-cycle service network covering vehicle delivery, operation and maintenance training, and emergency response, with professional teams providing rapid support to maximize vehicle operational efficiency.

Moving forward, BYD Commercial Vehicles will continue to support Singapore’s Green Plan 2030 with advanced technology, reliable products, and high-quality services, contributing to the reduction of land transport carbon emissions and the achievement of local net-zero targets.
