The development of new quality productive forces relies on breakthroughs in core technologies. The first-prize project addressed three major challenges in new energy commercial vehicle electric drive systems: high energy loss and difficult thermal management, overall optimization control, and fault prediction for operational safety. Through progressive advancements in topology, control strategies, and safety protection, the project achieved a systematic breakthrough centered on multi-objective predictive control of motor systems. This effectively resolved key efficiency and safety challenges in the electrification of commercial vehicles. The research outcomes have been widely applied in electric drive systems for new energy heavy-duty trucks and other commercial vehicles, generating an incremental sales revenue of RMB 9.277 billion over the past three years.

Driven by global carbon reduction initiatives and China's "dual-carbon" strategy, the new energy commercial vehicle sector is experiencing significant growth. Provinces and cities including Fujian, Shandong, Guangdong, Jiangsu, and Shanghai have already initiated plans for hydrogen energy industry development. Building on years of technical expertise in hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles, the second-prize project leveraged academic research strengths and supply chain resources to develop a high-power, low-hydrogen-consumption, high-safety, long-range hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck. This achievement has substantially elevated China's performance standards in this vehicle segment. To date, nearly 300 Golden Dragon hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks utilizing this technology have been sold, generating RMB 177 million in revenue and delivering robust economic and environmental benefits.

Moving forward, Golden Dragon Bus will continue to optimize its innovation ecosystem, promote further breakthroughs in key technologies, and advance steadily toward greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology—consistently pursuing innovation and scaling new heights.
