Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o. is a leading producer of city and intercity buses in Europe. It focuses on the development of low-emission and zero-emission vehicles, i. e. electric and hydrogen buses as well as trolleybuses.

From conception to the design and manufacturing phases, all Solaris buses are produced in Poland. All activities undertaken by the company are in line with its mission, which is reflected in the brand’s promise: to change the image of public transport.

Solaris has delivered tens of thousands of vehicles to public transport operators across nearly all of Europe, actively supporting their transition to more sustainable and eco-friendly mobility solutions.

The company's products have been repeatedly awarded for quality and innovation, including the prestigious "Bus of the Year" title twice – for the Urbino 12 electric named best bus for 2017, and the Urbino 18 hydrogen recognized as best bus for 2025.

The manufacturer is also a committed participant in European initiatives focused on sustainable urban development, contributing its expertise and insights in transforming transport to achieve zero emissions.

What we do

Every day, we supply our clients with low-floor city and intercity buses as well as trolleybuses. Over 26 000 Solaris vehicles have been delivered so far and they ply the streets in 33 countries, and 850 towns and cities, across Europe as well as beyond it. Our international presence allows us to perfectly comprehend the individual needs of towns and cities.

We also offer a comprehensive after-sales service as part of an extensive servicing network, supported by Optiline, the company’s own line of spare parts. Our specialized Aftersales team, dedicated to servicing zero-emission vehicles, plays a fundamental role in this regard.

The strong position of Solaris in the market is reflected in the numbers: so far, we have delivered the highest number of electric and hydrogen buses among all European manufacturers, and for over a decade we have been standing at the forefront in this segment in Europe.

Solaris products have been repeatedly awarded for quality and innovation. The Urbino 18 hydrogen bus has won the prestigious 'Bus of the Year 2025' title.
