Recently, another batch of Zhongtong N-series urban buses was delivered to Bukhara Province in Uzbekistan. This is another large-scale delivery of Zhongtong buses in Uzbekistan in 2025, following the deliveries to Namangan Province, Khorezm Province, and other regions, continuing to support the modernization of public transportation in Central Asia.

Bukhara Province is home to some of the oldest cities in Central Asia. Its capital, Bukhara, is a historic city in the region, known as the “Museum City” and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Central Asia. Here, visitors can experience the profound history that spans thousands of years.

At the delivery ceremony, Botir Zaripov, the Governor of Bukhara Province, stated that these buses will not only improve the commuting experience for residents but also contribute to the ecological protection of the world cultural heritage site by reducing exhaust emissions. The buses will be prioritized for deployment on ancient city tourism routes and main thoroughfares, providing comfortable and convenient travel services for both tourists and local residents.

It is understood that the Zhongtong N-series buses delivered this time feature a low-entry, single-step design and are equipped with disability access ramps, allowing the elderly and special groups to board without barriers. The buses are fitted with automatic transmissions, significantly enhancing the convenience of operation for drivers. They are powered by Weichai WP7NG natural gas engines, combined with lightweight vehicle technology, resulting in longer range, lower energy consumption, and stronger power output.

In recent years, Uzbekistan has prioritized the development of public transport. Local governments have been improving service capabilities through measures such as vehicle renewal and the construction of dedicated roads. In Bukhara Province, Zhongtong N-series buses are gradually replacing old diesel vehicles. This not only enhances the comfort and efficiency of travel for local residents but also improves the urban image of Bukhara Province.

From ancient Silk Road towns to modern cities, Zhongtong Bus continues to provide smart and efficient public transport solutions, contributing to the high-quality development of global passenger transport.
