The Chilean Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications stated that once all these Chinese pure electric buses are put into operation, the proportion of electric vehicles in the RED public transport system of the capital region will rise to 68%. As early as 2021 and 2022, Zhongtong's H12Plus premium pure electric tourist buses were delivered to Chile in succession. These buses provided robust support for commuting in the country's copper mining areas. In 2023, 40 Zhongtong pure electric buses were put into operation in the Chilean city of Antofagasta. In May 2024, witnessed by the President of Chile, Zhongtong's N-series pure electric buses were delivered in bulk to the city of Rancagua. And in 2025, Zhongtong's H12Plus premium pure electric tourist buses were once again exported to Chile in large quantities. With their outstanding performance and quality, they successfully entered the Chilean tourism and commuting market.
