On Oct., 7, Busworld Europe 2023 officially kicked off in the capital city of Belgium. Several major bus makers (Golden Dragon, Zhongtong, Higer, Yutong, BYD, King Long) from China present greener and more intelligent public transportation solutions for the world.
Golden Dragon showcasing its new technologies and bus products, including Pivot series electric city buses and Triumph travel coach at Busworld Europe 2023.
Zhongtong, one of major bus makers in China, attended Busworld Brussels for the very first time. It also brought three bus models on display, including one powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
Higer showcased three electric bus models particularly designed for the European market. “We have been making huge progresses in building intelligent and environmentally friendly buses”, said Zheng Chunhui, Deputy General Manager of Higer.
At Yutong’s exhibition booth, the bus maker brought four electric buses for urban public transport and tourist transportation on display. It also released YEA, a newly developed software & hardware platform for commercial vehicles.
BYD, one of the leading players in the electric vehicle industry, officially released two new electric bus models. According to the automaker, its new bus models, equipped with blade batteries, are able to drive up to 600 km continuously after being fully recharged and are the ideal choice for intercity public transport.
King Long bus, which attends the Busworld Exhibition in Belgium for the ninth time this year, had three intelligent bus models entirely powered by electricity on display.
Apart from above-mentioned bus makers, some major businesses involved in developing and marketing key components (batteries, electric motors, electric controls, electric driving axles, recharging posts, air-conditioning systems, intelligent passenger cabins) for commercial vehicles also attended Busworld Europe.
