On September 9, the 18th China (Wuxi) International Design Expo & the 24th WIPO-CNIPA Award for Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention & Industrial Design was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Jointly organized by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, this year’s event gathered over 300 experts, scholars, entrepreneurs from many countries and regions. In addition, over 2,400 inventions and industrial designs were submitted to compete for the 10 highly coveted China Exterior Design Gold Awards.
Golden Dragon won Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention & Industrial Design Gold Award. The award winning coach, the luxury Navigator coach was also brought on display, showcasing its exceptionally outstanding design. As one of the fist products of the bus maker, Navigator skillfully integrates aesthetic elements with aerodynamic principles. On board, the luxury coach exudes advanced technologies and easily transports passengers to the future world. Since its debut, Navigator has been gaining fast rising popularity and has so far sold nearly 1,000 units with a total revenue of over 500 million RMB.
Golden Dragon has always been attaching paramount importance to intellectual property rights. In 2018, it was recognized as as Outstanding Enterprise with Competitive Intellectual Property in Fujian Province. In 2019, it officially passed intellectual property right management system. In 2022, it was recognized as an Outstanding Enterprise with Competitive Intellectual Property in China. S0 far, Golden Dragon has obtained 239 patents, including 28 invention patents. In addition, it has won many Golden Design Awards, Patent Awards in Xiamen.
Officially launched in 1989, WIPO-CNIPA Award for Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention & Industrial Design represents the highest honor and recognition in the intellectual property field. It is jointly set up by China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
