On July 11, a grand ceremony was held to mark a new milestone in Dongfeng Cummins’ (hereafter referred to as DCEC) history: its production volume of engines for non-road machinery officially reached one million units. A number of distinguished guests together with the DCEC staff witnessed the historical moment.
As a joint venture established in Jun., 1996, DCEC has produced and sold over three million units engines for various purposes. Built on the huge success of their predecessors, the company’s generation of engine products (B3.9, B5.9, B6.7, L9, etc.) with China’s IV Emission Standards for non-road machinery have already established a solid presence in the market. They have long been widely considered as the ideal power solutions for pumps, cranes, excavators, loading machines, drilling machines, air compressors, agricultural machinery, road-building machinery, etc. Take its B5.9 engine for example. With a power range of 130-240 horsepower, it works smoothly in various harsh conditions. Thanks to its highly efficient fuel combustion system, the engine achieves enviable fuel efficiency.
On the same day, DCEC Family Service was officially launched, providing comprehensive after-sales services for DCEC’s customers across the globe. According to the company, it will continue to work closely with its business partners to develop greener and more intelligent power solutions for global customers.
In late May this year, DCEC Heavy-Duty Intelligent Factory officially started operation. Equipped with a host of advanced technologies, the new factory further boosts DCEC’s production capacity and strengthens its leading position in the market.
