From May 17 to 19, China Beijing International Exhibition on Buses, Trucks and Components was held at China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi). The three-day events attracted major media outlets from home and abroad, putting green and intelligent transport once again in the spotlight.
Themed with Low Carbon & Intelligent Transport Development, the three major exhibitions this year aim to showcase the latest technological breakthroughs and achievements in new energy vehicles, intelligent vehicles and related digital and light-weight material fields. Yutong, BYD Commercial Vehicle, Ankai, Zhongtong, Foton AUV, Skyworth Group, Yuchai, ACTIA Group, SENPTEC, PAN-GOOD and a number of other leading players in the industry all brought their newly developed technologies and products on display. Many also held press conferences to release their cutting-edge technologies and highly energy-efficient transportation solutions.
In this three-day period, 2023 Green & Intelligent Urban Transport Seminar, Urban-Rural Passenger & Cargo Transport Seminar were also held. Renowned researchers and experts shared their insights on the industry and related government policies.
Carbon reduction has become the shared goal for the entire humanity. At the second UN Global Sustainable Transport Conference, Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged to promote greener transport and low-carbon infrastructure construction.
