Geely C8E Electric City Buses Officially Start Operation in Yilong

On February 15, a batch of Geely C8E electric city buses officially started their operation in Yilong county, Nanchong, Sichuan Province, providing greener and more convenient transportation services for local residents.

By adopting new high-strength materials, Geely C8E electric city bus successfully cuts its weight by 10%-20% and energy consumption by 10%. Powered by lithium iron phosphate batteries, the vehicle is able to get fully recharged in 90 minutes and can drive 200 kilometers continuously. Moreover, it provides more travel comforts on board thanks to its improved seating furnishings.

In recent years, Nanchong has been taking a series of measures to promote green energy industry and green public transport. Geely C8E electric city bus is set to ushering in a brand new era of green public transport in China.
