Recently, a batch of Foton AUV hydrogen fuel cell buses, BJ6122FCEVCH and BJ6906FCEVCH, which served Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, were put into service on some bus routes in the capital city, providing greener and more comfortable travel services for local residents. According to Foton AUV, these buses were put on some bus routes in Yanqing District and Fangshan District.
With a hydrogen refill in just 10 to 15 minutes, Foton AUV hydrogen fuel cell bus is able to drive over 1,000 km continuously. By significantly cut the power refill time, it is able to drive smoothly in extremely harsh weather conditions. It can work smoothly when temperature drops to -30°C and remain intact when temperature drops to -40°C.
“Compared with natural gas powered buses, Foton AUV hydrogen fuel cell bus generates less noise, drives more smoothly and emits no pollutants at all”, Guo Hongyu, a bus driver.

Foton AUV hydrogen fuel cell buses worked smoothly during Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, fully demonstrating their high environmental friendliness and high reliability. Later this year, more Foton AUV hydrogen fuel cell buses are scheduled to hit the road in Beijing, further upgrading the public transport network in the capital city.
