On August 20, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released a list of Internet of Vehicle Technology Pilot Projects. The Internet of Vehicle V2X Trust Support Technology Application, which was jointly developed by Golden Dragon and Automotive Data of China (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., is on the list.
According to MIIT’s New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2021-2035) and Intelligent Vehicle Innovative Development Strategy, China has been making great efforts to build a strong security network for internet of vehicle technologies, aiming to promote identification, security trust network, pin number for commercial use and ensure the security of C-V2X.

In June, 2017, Golden Dragon successfully rolled out its first generation autonomous driving bus, which made its debut at China Intelligent Vehicle (Shanghai) Pilot Demonstration Zone. In March, 2019, the company’s autonomous driving buses were put into test on the road in Israel. In addition, it was appointed to conduct research on major technological project recognized by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology. Golden Dragon’s autonomous driving buses have already obtained operation license in Pingtan, Fujian province.
In 2020, Golden Dragon autonomous driving buses won the highly coveted prize at a competition. They also work smoothly at the world’s first 5G autonomous driving mini-bus demonstration bus line in Wuzhen. In Zhangzhou Information Port Town, Suzhou High-speed Rail New Area, Xiamen Software Park Phase III, Erdos, Golden Dragon autonomous driving buses can also be found, providing more convenient transportation services for passengers. According to the bus maker, its autonomous driving buses have accumulated a total mileage of one million kilometers.
