200 Units Yuchai Engines Powered Yutong Buses Delivered to South America for Operation

Recently, 200 units Yuchai engines, which have been powered on Yutong buses, were delivered to their customer in South America for operation.

In recent years, Yuchai has been actively involved in marketing its products in South America. Thanks to its high quality products and timely after-sales services, the engine brand has been gaining a fast rising popularity in the region.

According to Yuchai, the number of its engines in operation in South America is now approaching 30,000 units, accounting for 50% of the power market of buses measuring 7-meter in length and above.

In addition, Yuchai’s power solutions for agricultural machinery have also made new breakthroughs in South America. In August, 2020, 100 units combine-harvesters equipped with Yuchai engines were delivered to their customer. Despite COVID-19, Yuchai’s power solutions for agricultural machinery jumped by nearly 300% in 2020.
