www.chinabuses.org: On May 9, a grand ceremony was held to mark the official start of the construction of Yinlong New Energy Nanjing Production Base, which is located in Lishui Economic Development Zone. After the completion of the base, it will be chiefly involved in producing new energy vehicles, power batteries, storage batteries and start-stop systems. Ma Qiulin, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, Dong Mingzhu, president of Gree Electric Co., Ltd. and honorary president of Yinlong New Energy, together with a number of other officials attended the ceremony.

Yinlong New Energy has successfully developed the internationally advanced lithium titanate batteries for electric vehicles. The construction of its production base in Nanjing will greatly strengthen its overall competitiveness and help the company gain an edge in the emerging market.
 
According to Yinlong, the first phase of the production base will be completed next year. After its completion, the base will be able to produce electric commercial vehicles, power batteries, and start-stop systems for vehicles.
