www.chinabuses.org: On 3 June 2011, the launching of simulated production line of new energy buses, namely, the inaugural ceremony was grandly held in Shandong Engineering Technician College, such is the cooperation between Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd. (hereafter Zhongtong Bus for short) and the college.

On 10 June 2010, Zhongtong Bus has signed the cooperative agreement with Shandong Engineering Technician College to commonly promote the vocational education of new energy automobile. Shandong Engineering Technician College has invested 1 million Yuan on the training equipments and offers the site covering 1000 square meters. And Zhongtong Bus provides the supports of technologies and teachers, relating to assembly, maintenance, testing, debugging and sales of new energy vehicles.

It is known that the jointly promoted major, mainly referring to the courses of auto engine integration, hybrid power auto, assembly of new energy vehicles and the studying of electric power and hybrid power.
During the period of the twelfth “five-year plan” (2011-2015), Zhongtong Bus closely seizes the opportunity of the development of new energy vehicles and the promotion of energy-saving & emission-reducing. The production base of Zhongtong new energy vehicles is under construction, which enables the annual output of 10000 new energy buses as well as 20000 energy-saving buses. The launching of the simulated production line of new energy buses makes students and teachers the chance of practicing theory and train the related high-sill talents.
