Yungman and Yutong “Carves up” the Order of 96 Buses of Urumqi

www.chinabuses.org:It is reported that, on May 19, 2011, the tender for 96 BRT(Bus Rapid Transit) buses of 18 meters long is going on. Yutong has won 55 buses, the model of which is ZK6180HG. The seats of these buses are from 24 to 68 and the maximum speed of these buses is 80km per hour. Yungman has won 41 buses, the model of which is JNP6180GM and the capacity of which is 163 people and 180 to 200 people during the rush hour. These new buses will soon be put into operation, which would comprehensively ease the traffic pressure of city.
It is reported that the purchasing center of Xingjiang government issued a tender on the internet to purchase 96 express (BRT) public buses. On May 9th, the purchasing center supplemented: the whole engine of the express buses must be imported from other countries and could be start under the temperature of minus 35 Celsius; 41 of those express public buses are right door vehicle. The tender opening date is on May 16th and the contract signing date is May 18, 2011.
Since the tender is very demanding, Yutong and Youngman both attach great importance to it. The staff of the sales department of Yungman Auto Group introduced: Yungman JNP6180GM, using the standard of NEOPLAN, adopts the whole body bearing technology and overload technology is strengthened to ensure that, in case of collision or rollover, certain space is reserved for passenger for survival.
GM assistant of Tibet Region says: the public bus ZK6180GC is the self-developed low chassis bus based on the technology of German MAN Company which has three or four doors and is very easy to get on and off. Its characteristic also includes: large standing area and the imported air-conditioning system in accordance with the climate characteristic of Xinjiang.
