62 Zhongtong LNG City Buses Deliver in Liaocheng, Shandong Provicne

www.chinabuses.org: On 30 April 2011, the transfer ceremony of new energy city buses to Liaocheng Public Transport was held in Zhongtong Bus and 62 Zhongtong LCK6910GC LNG city buses have been formally operated in Shuicheng. It is known that it is the first time of such mass operation of LNG city buses in Shangdong province, also the largest scale of city buses for Liaocheng Public Transport.

According to Kong Li’an, the chief engineer of post-doctoral workstation of Zhongtong Bus, "we apply engine constant temperature technology on these buses capable of reducing engine power loss, fan noise and enhancing the fuel utilization ratio. Also, we offer the technical training for drivers, maintenance staffs and technical attendants for two days, in cooperation with the related supporting facilities producers such as Weichai Power and the training refers to usage, maintenance and repairs of the buses, even fuel economy based on the actual research of Zhongtong Bus."

It is known the first 62 city buses with air-conditioners will replace the ones in routes No.9, No.21, No.26 and No.329 and the operation of these buses will contribute to the relieving of urban traffic jam, the improving of transport environment for citizens and the enhancing city image.
