Yuchai Engine’s Order Makes High Record in Feb

A good start for the first quarter in 2009.
China Yuchai Engine’s Order in February amounted to 50,000 Units, making a new record of February in Yuchai development history; each plant of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group started the production from Spring Festival.
In 2008, the sales of Yuchai Group reached 20.84 billion Yuan. The production and sales of diesel engines reached 550 thousands, a rise of 105.36%. The company maintained the first position in domestic market for eight consecutive years, and implemented the 8-year double-digit growth.
Under the “cold economy environment”, Yuchai never gave up its high-growth aim, it has built an advanced R&D platform taking as the core research & development of technology on its own and supported by the European & American technology. In recent years the group has got two research topics included in the state “863” high-tech research program; participated in compilation of several state or trade standards; put on the market first diesel engines up to E-III, E-IV and E-V standards and ones for passenger cars; awarded the sole “Autonomous Innovation Achievement Prize” in Guangxi and is the unit ranking first among applicants for the patent in Guangxi and in the trade.
