Proposal on home-made vehicle first in government procurement
WANG Fengying, President of Great Wall Motor: in China, it is not news that some indigenous vehicle brands are encountering some difficulties in governmental procurement projects, including the intransparency of governmental procurement plan, the barriers set up for qualifications and standards, the overly high budgets for vehicle procurement, the unclear division of responsibilities of the procurement department of some governmental units, etc. Against such a backdrop, the government is suggested to take steps to make the government procurement project more transparent and make the indigenous vehicle brands first in their choice.
