Bus Makers Need Open New Market

The global financial turmoil started at the end of last year. Many migrant workers had to return home to find some jobs and business. Many of them are going to buy vehicles to start their own business. It stirs Chinese huge rural auto market.
China's auto sales only grew 6.7 percent in 2008. It is the first time of auto growth fell below 10 percent in a decade. Chinese automakers are looking to the vast countryside that is getting more affluent sources.
A Chinese auto sales store tells that “Currently, rural people become richer and richer and many of them want to buy vehicle in rural area. Our business is very good and the growth rate reaches 25 percent month-on-month.”
Experts say transportation is an important part to farming. Transportation includes people’s flow and cargo’s transport. It means rural people in China need lots of minibuses and trucks in their daily life. Restructuring products and opening rural market, that maybe is a good opportunity for automakers to get rid of financial crisis.
