Auto Import Surges

News from China Machinery Industry Federation reports that China’s auto export drops deeply due to global financial turmoil, but import sector still goes forward, especially for importing of green autos.

From last year’s statistics shows that Chinese auto import rises nearly 30 percent year on year and the value is over 15 billion US dollars, especially for hybrid electrical and low-emission vehicles, they are taking a larger market share.

Regarding the export sector, China exported 680,000 units last year, down 68 percent year on year.
