FAW Hybrid Electric Vehicle Small Batch Production This Year

By the China FAW Group self-developed hybrid vehicles will realize small batch production during this year, which plans to produce 100 hybrid electric buses, hybrid cars 20.

According to FAW Group, director of technology Lijun introduction, the first batch of 100 FAW hybrid buses will be in Dalian, Changchun on-line operations, is expected to realize mass production in 2010. Compared with the traditional bus, hybrid bus save fuel 38%, each cost about 920,000 yuan.
