Recently, World leading bus and coach manufacturer China Yutong and famous American Aluminum Company announced to debut a new generation complete aluminum coach, model ZK6126HGE, which is a new environmental protection coach and is going to serve 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Compared with traditional coach, ZK6126HGE is lighter approximate 46% of vehicle's body weight due to its main part is made of aluminum, which can save oil consumption and reduce emission of exhausted gas effectively.
A new study indicates while a city diesel oil coach loses weight 100 kg, it would save fuel oil 2550 litres in whole operational cycle of certain stops, meanwhile, it could reduce CO2 emission largely. So realizing breakthrough to lose more than 1000 kg of each coach is significant to Yutong. And actually, Yutong has had its 12 meters long city public transport lost over 1400kg by cooperating with Aluminum Company.
