China Sold 765 Units High Grade Coaches in Q1,2021
According to the latest statistics, China sold 765 units high grade coaches with price tags over 900,000 RMB in the first quarter this year, up by 49.4% year on year, but down by 38% compared with that in the same period in 2019.
For coaches priced between 900,000 RMB and 1,500,000 RMB, the sales in the first quart this year jumped by 83% year on year.
For coaches priced between 1,500,000 RMB and 2,000,000 RMB, the sales dropped by 55.6% year on year in the first three months in 2020, but rose by 28.9% in the same period this year.
For coaches priced over 2,000,000 RMB, the sales decreased by 46.43% year on year in the first three months in 2020, but rose by 20.8% in the same period this year.
It is also revealed Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Beijing, Shandong and Shanghai are the nine major markets for high-end coaches. The combined sales volume in these markets accounted for 88.49% of the total sales in the first quarter. Guangdong, Zhejiang and Jiangsu were the top three markets with their respective purchases accounting for 18.04%, 17.25% and 15.69% of the total sales.
Also in the high-end coach market, 370 units were sold to the travel market in the first quarter, accounting for 59.5% of the total sales; 170 units were sold to the passenger transportation market, accounting for 37.1% of the total sales; 225 units were powered by new energy (including fuel cell coaches), up by 44.2% year on year.
