According to Administration of Customs data, imports of vehicles in May amounts to 133.7 thousand units, up by 21.2% on last year, while exports amount is 85.5 units, down by 1.0% on last year. In the first five months this year, imports amount of vehicles comes to 572.8 thousand units, up by 35.1% on year on year basis, while exports comes to 367.3 thousand units, down by 6.5% on last year.
According to sources, production and sales of vehicles in June are 1.8556 million units and 1.8458 million units in China respectively, up by -6.08% and -3.42% on May and up by 10.83% and 5.23% on last year. For Jan to June, production and sales are 11.7834 million and 11.6835 million units, up by 9.60% and 8.36% year on year.
In Jan to June, the top ten commercial vehicle manufacturers are BAIC, Dongfeng, Chang'an, JAC, SAIC, FAW, Brilliance Auto, CNHTC, GreatWall and Shaanxi Automobile.
