Part One: Analysis of above 6-meter CNG Buses’ Sales in Jan. - Feb. 2013
According to the industry statistic from www.chinabuses.com, it is shown that in Jan. - Feb. 2013, it sold 1,491 units of the above 6-meter CNG buses in China, which are 377 units more than that of in 2012 (1,114 units). The growth rate of the sales of the CNG buses is 33.8%, which is much higher than the growth rate of the overall bus market sales. The sales volume of the CNG buses is one of the important factors to contribute the bus market sales volume in Jan. - Feb. 2013.
Among the total bus sales volume data, the sales volume of the large, medium and small buses are respectively 644 units, 507 units and 260 units. But the large, medium and small CNG buses respectively account for 43.2%, 34.0% and 17.4% of the total bus sales volume.

From above data, it is seen that
In Jan. - Feb. 2013, the sales volume of the large CNG buses is the biggest one. The second one is the medium CNG buses but the highest growth rate. The last one is the small CNG buses. So, the sales of the medium CNG buses is the main factor to contribute to the growing sales volume of the CNG bus sales in the first two month in 2013.

1. CNG Buses' Sales in China's Northeast Regional Markets
In Jan.-Feb. 2013, 166 units of CNG buses were sold by the nine bus builders in China’s northeast regional markets. The top four bus builders are FAW Dalian Bus, Yutong Bus, Shaolin Bus and Yangtze Bus. Due to the geographical advantage, FAW Bus sold 33 units of CNG buses, which accounted for nearly 30 percent of the market share. From the CNG sales models, the large and the medium CNG buses are the mainstream bus models.

2. CNG Buses' Sales in North China Regional Markets
In Jan.-Feb. 2013, there were eleven bus builders who sold 181 CNG buses in North China regional markets. Yutong Bus is the top one who sold 49 units of CNG buses here, which accounted for nearly 27 percent of the market share. The second one and the third one are Yangtze Bus and Changan Bus.
