Part Two: Sales Analysis of China Mainstream School Bus Builders in Jan.- Nov. 2012
In the school bus industry, each school bus builders' sales volumes are quite different and the market share of the top sixteen school bus builder decreased slightly. Yutong school buses are the best selling products, which account for the biggest part of the school bus market. In the school bus industry, the sales of the 7m-8m school buses are the best selling products. Then it is followed by 6m-7m school bus products and 8m-9m school bus products.
According to the sales statistics of www.chinabuses.com collecting from the China fifty mainstream bus builders, the total sales of school buses in Jan.- Nov. 2012 were 24,142 units. And the top sixteen bus builders' total school buses sales were 23,023 units, which accounted for 95.36 percent of the total sales of the school bus market, which decreased a litter compared to the sales in Jan.-Oct. 2012, which was 97.3 percent.

From above data, it is seen that
China bus builders' school bus sales who manufacture more than 1,000 units in the first eleven months of 2012 are Yutong Bus, Chang'an Bus, Zhongtong Bus, Guike Bus, Dongfeng Bus, Xiangyan Bus, Higer Bus, Dongte Bus and Shuchi Bus. Among them, Yutong Bus sold 6,918 units of school buses which accounted for 28.66 percent of the market share.
Among the top sixteen school bus builders, based on the various lengths, the sales of 7～8 meters school buses was the biggest one, which accounted for 33.3 percent of the school buses' total sales. The second one is the 6～7 meters school buses, which accounted for 29.2 percent of the school buses' total sales. The third one is 8～9 meters school buses, which accounted for 12.09 percent of the school buses' total sales. The least one is the 11～12 meters school buses, which accounted for only 3.3 percent of the school buses' total sales.
As for the famous bus builders such as King Long Bus, Ankai Bus, who started to sell the bus in July. And in July - Oct., King Long sold 560 units of school buses in all. Ankai sold more than 700 units in Nov. 2012. King Long Bus and Ankai Bus are other potential competitors in the school bus industry.
