Area Statistics of LNG buses in 2012
We can see from the above table that:
1. 364 LNG buses were sold in Sichuan, taking 7.28% market shares, and then it comes Xinjiang and Jiangsu provinces.
2. 2,761 LNG buses were sold in the top 15 areas, taking 55.22%. And the rest 44% sales of LNG buses are distributed into 18 areas.
3. Sales of LNG buses are mainly in central and west China, and Southwest and Northwest China saw the largest sales.
Part Four: Price analysis of LNG buses in 2012
Most LNG buses were sold at 300,000-400,000 Yuan and 400,000-500,000 Yuan.

We can see that:
1. Just 131 LNG buses above 600,000 Yuan were sold, taking 2.6%, and these are mainly 12m and above large LNG buses and the engine are mainly Yuchai and Shanghai Diesel Engines.
2. 36.5% LNG buses are sold for 300,000-400,000 Yuan. These are mainly ten meter buses with high ratio-cost performance with more passenger capacity and lower no load ratio.
3. 27.7% LNG buses are sold for 400,000-500,000 Yuan. These are 10-11 meter buses with better specification than like city buses.
4. Just 1.34% LNG buses are sold for less than 200,000 Yuan. And these are mainly six-meter city buses. Traditionally there are less LNG buses for six-meter, for there is just one cylinder for such a short bus, and the wheelbase is too short and the body length is not enough, so it is not proper to place LNG cylinder on top or rear of the bus. Six-meter buses are always to be used for city and town meidum distance passenger transport, and it is not convenient to place gas recharging stations. So this kind of buses are always used in meidun and small cities.
5. Over 60% of the LNG buses are sold for 300,000-500,000 Yuan, which can give guide for LNG city buses manufacturers.
