According to the statistics, in Jan.-Oct. 2012, 51,563 city buses were sold, down 2.39 percent over Jan.-Oct. 2011 (52,823). And in the overall China bus industry, the growth rate was 5.05 percent in Jan.-Oct. 2012.

From above data, it is seen that only the sales of 11m-12m long city buses were in positive growth with the sales growth being 38.2 percent.
In the segment of city buses, 11m-12m long city bus segment is the biggest one, which accounts for nearly 30 percent. 11m-12m long city buses are the main bus models in the large & medium cities’ main roads.
Due to the high cost-performance ratio of the 11m-12m long city buses, they are the main bus models purchased by the cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Tianjin, Nanjing, Shenyang, Chengdu, and Chongqing etc cities.
