Among fifty main bus builders, there are also twenty-nine bus builders who manufacturer school bus products in China. The school bus sales volume in Sept. were 2,508 units. Among the twenty-nine bus builders, the bus builders' school bus sales volume over 1,000 units are Yutong Bus, Chang'an Bus, Zhongtong Bus, Guike Bus, Dongfeng Bus and Xiangyang Bus.
Yutong Bus is in the top one place, the sales of which in Jan.-Sept. were 6,140 units, which accounted for 31.31 percent of the total school bus industry. The twenty-nine bus builders' total school buses sales in Jan.- Sept. 2012 were 19,661 units, which accounted for 10.94 percent of the total sales of the bus industry market.
It is obviously seen that the month-on-month growth of the school bus in China changes a lot. The growth rate in the first six month of 2012 is gradually slowing down to a rational growth rate but it increased sharply in July and especially August, which even increased by 96.7 percent in the both months. In Jan.-Sept, the market share of the school bus increased in the school bus industry.
