The total market share of the top eleven mainstream bus builders in the CNG bus market was 91.4%, which increased by 0.3% compared to the first four months of 2011. It shows that the mainstream bus builders make efforts on monopolizing the CNG bus market.

In the sales of the CNG bus market, the top five mainstream bus builders are almost in southeast area of China while Yutong Bus is in the central area of China. Most of the bus builders are in Sichun areas, as the natural gas resource in Sichun is rich. The bus builders there can make use of this advantage, so Sichun Province attracts the bus builders to come there to manufacturer natural gas buses.
