According to the sales statistics of www.chinabuses.com collecting from the China fifty mainstream bus builders, the total sales of school buses in Jan.- April 2012 were 8,490 units. The top fifteen bus builders' total school buses sales were 8,405 units, which account for 99.0% of the total sales of the school bus market.
Among the China school bus builders, the sales of Yutong school bus is the biggest one, which account for 32.2% of the market shares in the school bus market. Based on the various lengths of school buses, the sales of 6～7 meters school buses is the biggest one. Then the second one is the 7～8 meters school buses and the third one is 8～9 meters school buses. From above data, it is seen that
The the school bus sales of the China bus builders that are more than 400 units in the first four months of 2012 are Yutong Bus,Chang'an Bus, Dongfeng Bus, Guike Bus, Zhongtong Bus, Dongte Bus, Shaolin Bus and Xiangyang Bus. Among them, Yutong sold 2,734 units of school buses which account for 32.20% of the market share.
Based on the various lengths, the sales of 6～7 meters school buses is the biggest one, which accounts for 34.04% of the total sales of school buses. The second one is the 7～8 meters school buses, which accounts for 33.8% of the total sales of school buses. The third one is 8～9 meters school buses.The last one is the 10～11 meters school buses.
As for the famous bus builders such King Long Bus, Ankai Bus, Huanghai Bus etc, though in Jan. - April 2012, they do not sell their school bus products, but in the near future, they will have their own achievement in China school bus markets due to their continue efforts in this market.
