Part Four: Prices Analysis of China School Bus Market in Jan. - March 2012


The sales price phenomenon of the China school buses is different from other buses, that is, a few at each extreme and many in between. The sales of the school buses valuing 0.2~0.3 million is the biggest and the sales of the school buses both valuing 0.4~0.5 million & below 0.15 million are the smallest. Compared to the first two months of 2012, this phenomenon is much more obvious.

From the above data, it is seen that
 

1. In the first three months of 2012, the highest prices of the school buses are not more than RMB 0.5 million.   


2. The sales of the school buses valuing RMB 0.2~0.3 million is the biggest, which accounts for 41.2 percent in the total sales of the school buses. The second biggest one is the sales of the school buses valuing  RMB 0.15~0.2 million, which accounts for 33.9 percent in the total sales of the school buses. The smallest ones are the school buses valuing below RMB 0.15 million and RMB 0.4~0.5 milliom.


3. Compared to the sales in the first two months of 2012, the sales proportion of the school buses valuing RMB 0.15~0.3 million is higher. But the sales proportion of the school buses at the both ends' prices become lower.  


In the first quarter of 2012, the two factors that the buyers are concerning about is the "Safety Performance and After-sale Service" of the school buses.The exhibition and introduction meeting are the two main ways to introduce the school bus products and the sales of them.


Part Five: Analysis of the favorable and unfavorable factors influence the school bus market in other three quarters of 2012


1.The school bus market is till with big potential, there are still some other bus builders join the school bus market later.


According to the current data, it is known that the students in the primary schools is 0.1 billion and there are 0.5 million kindergarten schools in China. With 50 million people needing to take the school buses and each school bus occupants 50 people calculation, so the demand for the school bus reaches 1 million.
  

At present, the school buses in operation in China is 285,000 units, but only 29,000 units of school buses comply with the school buses standards. That means the proportion of the professional school buses in China is only 10 percent.


2. Facing the temptation of huge school bus market, the car makers and foreign car companies also want to enter China school bus market. The sales of the school bus market will develop fast and compete fast in the other quarters of 2012 .


3. Although China government has passed through the school bus safety standards recently, in the local areas, there are still lack of the system control & support for the promotion of the school buses. Besides, the local government finance shortage is still restricted the school bus popular.
