The prediction of coach products demand changes in future


Large and medium size coaches: According to the current situation, the highway coach market resources are more and more appealing by superiority coach enterprises, and other vulnerable coach enterprises of highway passenger transportation share has been gradually taking by the superiority coach enterprises. Although the sales of coach is up nearly 15% this year, the pattern of the coach market and the market share of the highway passenger transportation coaches in the overall bus market are still important, which have more than 70% of the whole scale. Generally speaking, under the same condition, the bus' profit space may be lower than the highway passenger transportation coaches'. So for the superiority coach enterprises, they must concentrate on their efforts on the highway passenger transportation market and to be preemptive in it.
 

In the main highway passenger transportation coaches, for the seats coaches and the sleeper coaches, the mainstream coach enterprisers in their seat coaches' growth speed is far outweighed than the sleeper coaches. And seat coaches and sleeper coaches’ markets are all rising and leaving less and less compete opportunities for the other highway passenger transportation enterprises. The sleeper coaches are now gradually out of the passenger transportation market.


The 11-meter ~ 12-meter long coach segment market is the biggest one in highway passenger transportation market. The following is the 6-meter ~ 7-meter long coaches. These two different length segment markets are the two big segment markets. It is estimated that  as the urban and rural passenger transportation vehicle, the sales growth of the 6-meter ~ 7-meter long coaches will be the highlight in the next  five years. 11-meter ~ 12-meter long coaches will develop to be the high level coaches in these years in the highway passenger transportation. At the same time, the market share of the tourist coaches will certainly rise.

 

Small buses: It is seen that, the long axis of Japanese models' sales have increased, which reflects the need of the bus markets now not the smaller one but bigger one. The increased market share of the short axis in European models reflecting the European models of small buses are suitable for both the markets of the passenger and cargo transportation.


The future small bus' development is to be large-scale, specialization and using of diesel. In order to avoid the MPV market competition, the small buses in large-scale will use diesel as its power,  which is the market development trend. At the same time, the small buses will be more abundant as the related specialty products of the small buses will be produced more in larger-scale.


The prediction of the future bus & coach industry policies and regulations


During "Twelve Five" years of plan period, China will implement National  Ⅳ even National Ⅴ emission standard regulations in the vehicle industry. For the vehicle enterprises, it means that they have to increase the cost of production. And some backward enterprises with outdated production technology are likely to be merger or eliminated. At the same time, Chinese government will continue to promote the restructuring of the vehicle industry.


The prediction of the future bus & coach industry export


In 2010, the buses & coaches with more than 10 seats, whose total export volume is 36,517 units, and the year-on-year growth is 56.97%. Besides, the export amount is USD 1.036 billion, up 62.44%.


The Export unit price is USD 28,385, which is equal to RMB 190,000.


Although at present Chinese vehicle market has already been out of the international financial crisis affect and the buses export volume increased, but it still not completely recover from the crisis. At the same time, international economic uncertainty increases and the international market recovery is still very slowly. It is expected that the coach export volume in the next five years will be a growth, a modest growth, is unlikely to be rapid growth.
