Part One: General analysis of China bus export in 2010

The 2011 annual sales growth of China bus export become the greatest force to promote the growth of the overall china bus market. Among them, the large bus' export quantity is the largest and the year-on-year growth is the highest, which is an important source to contribute to the China bus export market; The year-on-year growth of medium bus is the smallest so it is the major factor that restrains the sharp growth of China bus export market. Besides, the year-on-year growth of the bus' export is nearly same as the overall bus & coach export market, but the export bus' grade has been increased.

According to statistics of Chinabuses.com Industry Research Center, 29,117 units of buses & coaches are sold out in the year of 2011, up 42.15%  than 20,484 units that of previous year, and the sales revenue is RMB 9,055,257,500, up 50.15% than RMB 6,030,697,400 that of 2010. Although sales volume is up 42.15%, the sale revenue is up 50.15%, which can be seen that the grade of export buses is increasing and the average price of each bus is higher and higher. In this case, the profit is more and more.

Chart One: Statistic of China bus export volumes and revenues in 2011 & 2010

Chart One: Statistic of China bus export volumes and revenues in 2011 & 2010

From the above data, it is seen that,

1. Sales volume of large coaches in 2011 is 12,067 units, up 70.94% than 7,059 units that of last year, and the according revenue is RMB 6,599,709,600, up 71.41% than RMB 3,850,338,600 that of in 2010, sales volume and revenue are similar increase speed and both are higher than that of the overall bus export increase which means large bus in export is good, which becomes an important source to contribute to the China bus export market.

It means that the increase speed of the sales volume and revenue are similar but the increase range is not so high as the large bus' increase range. The two increment figures are similar, which is much bigger than large coaches. The year-on-year growth of medium bus is the smallest which results in the major factor restrains the sharp growth of China bus export market.

So it is seen that both sales volume and revenue of small buses increase, while their increments are less than that of large buses and overall buses export market but higher than that of medium buses.

Both sales volume and revenue are increasing at a similar speed, and the increase range is nearly same as the overall bus export market. Besides, the sales revenue growth is higher than the sales volume which means the grade of export buses is increasing.
