Firstly, national policy promotes the market demand, for example, 612 units in Jan.-Aug.2007 to 3991 units in Jan.-Aug.2011.

Secondly, the state clearly defines the subsidy standard, taking the comprehensive factors into consideration such as base price difference from conventional motor vehicles, promotion scale and technology advancement. Fifthly, credit squeeze makes influence on bus purchasers and builders, especially medium and small corporations. The comparative value of new energy vehicles is higher than conventional buses.

Sixthly, the great events promote the sales of new energy buses such as World Expo in Shanghai and Asian Games in Guangzhou.

Seventhly, the enthusiasm of purchasers on new energy buses is affected due to inconvenience in actual operation such as inadequate charging stations.

Eighthly, community egoism affects the promotion of new energy bus market in some regions.
