It can be seen from above that

1. Yutong sold the most city buses in the first nine months, followed by Higer and Kinglong Bus.

2. Market share of Yutong, Higer and Kinglong increased by 7.1%, while that of the traditional advantageous city bus makers were decreasing, by 2.6%, and we can say that wild growth of Yutong, Higer and Kinglong is narrowing shares of the traditional advantageous city bus makers, and that is the result of their competition in the first nine months.

Part 5 Development of main city bus builders are unbalanced.

We can see from the above table that:

We can see from above that developments of main city bus builders are unbalanced. Sales of Yutong were the biggest, up 66.3%, and then it was Higer, up 52.1%. However, sales of Yangtze decreased as much as 18.1%. And the distance is as much as 84.4%, which is rarely in the past few years.

And the reasons can be analyzed below:

1. Shanghai World Expo pulled growth of city bus markets. And some local bus builders, like Sunwin Bus benefits a lot in this process, and their sales increased by 100% is the first half year. In addition, some leading bus builders like Yutong and Higer also sold many buses to Shanghai.

2. Sales of Yutong increased the most, up to 66.3%, among the first three bus giants. And Kinglong city bus increased the least. The difference lies on their different development strategies. Yutong and Higer Bus put development of large city buses as their important goal in recent years, and Kinglong Bus focused on light bus markets, and the high speed development this year is mainly driven by their light bus department.

3. Sales of Dongfeng Yangtze and Hengtong Bus decreased to some extent, and that is because leading bus builders took their original markets share, and they did not secure many bus orders during Shanghai World Expo.

4. Sales of Huanghai Bus declined a lot last year, but their role as the first city bus builder is still rather influential, but they cannot compete with Yutong and Higer Bus, and their development pace has slowed down.
