To mark the 40th founding anniversary of China-Ecuador diplomatic ties, a team of persons-in-charge and technicians from six bus operators in Ecuador visited Yantai Public Transport Group on January 5. The team was led by Mr. Yanez Venegas, chairman of Ecuador Public Transport Association, and was accompanied by Du Peilong, president of Yantai Public Transport Group, Li Jinwen, General Manager of the company, and Xu Chao, Deputy General Manager of the company.
During their visit, the guests visited the company’s Bus Dispatch & Control Center and Corporate Culture Hall. They also took a ride on an 18-meter electric city bus on bus route No.1 and took a closer look at the electronic information board at bus stations and bus recharging stations. Then, the two parties exchanged views on the promotion of electric vehicles, bus fleet management, bus repair & maintenances, and drivers’ trainings. In the end, Mr. Venegas expressed his sincere hope that the two countries could further deepen their cooperation in the public transport sector.
