At the handover ceremony, Sun Qingmin pointed out that the export of 830 units Zhongtong school buses marks a new milestone for the bus maker’s business expansion in the Middle East, saying the company is always committed to ensure the travel safety of school kids in Saudi Arabia.
All the school buses delivered to Saudi Arabia are Zhongtong LCK6103GS. By increasing its width by 110 mm, the bus has a seat layout of 3+2 and thus has a total number of 55 seats. In 2014, Zhongtong shipped 2,186 units LCK6103GS buses to its customer in Saudi Arabia. In 2018, the bus was recognized as a Star Bus Model in China. With a solid reputation and formidable presence in the market, it has long been considered an ideal choice for bus operators.
Zhongtong has been exporting school buses, city buses and high-end travel coaches to Saudi Arabia since 2008. So far, the number of Zhongtong buses in operation in the country has exceeded 11,000 units, ranking the first place in the local market with a market share of 22%.
