Recently, CRRC Electric successfully obtained ISO26262 Vehicle Safety Certificate from TÜV based in Germany, setting a new milestone for the company’s global expansion. Currently, CRRC Electric is the only new energy commercial vehicle manufacturer in China which has obtained the certificate.
Well renowned for its stringent standards, TÜV ISO26262 Vehicle Safety Certificate represents the highest safety standards in the world’s auto industry and evaluates the performances of a vehicle throughout its whole lifecycle. It sets a number of extremely high standards for vehicles’ design, supporting software, hardware design, manufacturing and operation.
In addition, CRRC Electric has achieved ASIL (Automotive Safety Integration Level) D level. Divided into A, B, C and D levels, ASIL D level represents the highest level of safety standards.
In April, 2017, CRRC Electric officially set up its own department for function & safety management certification. In less than two years, the company’s hard work has paid off.
In 2016, C12 electric city bus made by CRRC Electric obtained a permit to enter Europe and North America.
