www.chinabuses.org: On June 26, Zhongzhi New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as ZEV) officially signed strategic cooperation agreements with Zhejiang Junsheng Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Zhejiang Junsheng) and Urban Partners Chuangke (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Urban Partners). According to the three parties’ agreement, a total number of 100,000 units electric logistic vehicles will be put into operation in the next three years.

The continued boom of the e-commerce in China has resulted in the explosive growth of the logistic industry in recent years. Against such a backdrop, logistic vehicles, especially those powered by new energy, are in huge demand. By partnering with online businesses and logistic companies, ZEV is aiming to solve the “last-kilometer” issue for many logistic companies.

In the next five years, ZEV will supply electric logistic vehicles to Urban Partners and provide 200,000 kilometer quality guarantee. Zhejiang Junsheng, which is specialized in renting new energy vehicles, will buy vehicle products from ZEV and rent them to Urban Partners, which must make sure the agreed operation mileage of all electric logistic vehicles. Through such a cooperation, the three parties will further relocate their best resources and complement one another and reach a win-win situation. In addition, the three companies are ambitious enough to build the largest and the best rental platform of electric logistic vehicles in China.

Also at the signing ceremony, ZEV signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhejiang Cainiao Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. and Zhixing (Hangzhou) Automobile Rental Co., Ltd. (also known Bapima Vehicle Rental Service). According to their agreement, the three parties are planning to jointly build green and intelligent urban distribution networks across China. The three companies will not only implement ACE Project which focuses on promoting one million new energy logistic vehicles in China, but they will also carry out long-term cooperation on marketing and renting new energy vehicles, their operation and R&D work.

Currently, electric logistic vehicle industry is entering a brand new development stage. Despite its limited sales volume compared with fossil-fuel powered logistic vehicles, the industry is growing very rapidly and is believed to expand to three million units in the near future.
